How Our Virtual Program Works

No pre-recorded courses, no generic workout PDFs. Every virtual athlete goes through the same process before we build their plan.

Step 02 🤝
Complete Your Player Assessment

We review your athlete's position, experience, schedule, goals, current habits, game film, and biggest development gaps.

Coach Tyler breaks down how he builds every player's program, using the 80 20 rule, where 80% of a player's scoring comes from 2 to 3 go to moves, shown here with D1 and overseas pro Wayne McKinney (SDSU).

Step 03 🎯
Get Your Personalized 8-Week Game Plan

If we're a fit, we'll map out exactly what your athlete needs to work on, how often they need to train, and what progress we'll measure.

😕 Unconfident Today Hesitant to take his shot or make a move in game speed
🏆 Confident by Week 8 Playing fast, trusting his game, and making plays without hesitation

Step 04 🔥
Train With Structure and Feedback

Your athlete follows a customized weekly plan, trains as often as their schedule allows, submits videos, receives coaching feedback, and gets accountability inside the community.

Monthly training calendar showing each athlete's assigned daily workouts with completion tracking

Every athlete's weekly plan lives right in our coaching app, with each session tracked as it's completed.

Step 05 📈
Track Progress and Build the Next Advantage

We measure skill gains, consistency, film improvement, and game-specific progress. Parents receive clear updates so they know what is improving and what comes next.

The SBT System

A Complete System, Not Just Training

Real development happens when live coaching, mindset work, and accountability all work together, no matter where you're training from.

Pillar 01 🏀

Pillar 02 🧠
The Mental

In-depth courses & film sessions: building routines, translating training to games, and connecting film to their training program, plus weekly film sessions to sharpen basketball IQ.

Pillar 03 ✅
Accountability

Weekly small group calls with your coach and other virtual athletes to keep your training on track, backed by an 850+ member community pushing each other to get better at basketball every day.

Common Questions

Before You Book Your Call

The questions parents and athletes ask us most before joining the virtual program.

Is virtual training actually effective, or is this just a library of videos?
No. This is not a pre-recorded workout library. Athletes train through a structured plan, submit videos, and receive coaching feedback so they know exactly what to correct and improve.
Will my athlete get individual attention?
Yes. Every athlete receives a personalized development plan based on their position, skill level, goals, schedule, and current weaknesses. Coaching feedback is adjusted to the athlete instead of giving everyone the same generic program.
What does my athlete actually do each week?
Your athlete follows a weekly plan that may include skill development, shooting, ball handling, footwork, strength, mobility, nutrition guidance, and recruiting-related tasks. The plan is built around their goals and available schedule.
How much time does the program require?
The recommended commitment is training 3 to 6 times per week, depending on the athlete's goals, schedule, and starting point. Each session has a specific purpose, so they are not wasting time doing random drills.
What if my athlete already has a team, coach, or private trainer?
That's completely fine. This program is designed to work alongside team practices and games. It gives your athlete additional structure, accountability, and individualized development outside of team practice.
How do I know if my athlete is actually improving?
We track measurable progress through assessments, submitted videos, coaching feedback, consistency, and skill-specific benchmarks. You will be able to see what your athlete is working on, where they are improving, and what needs attention next.
Will parents receive updates?
Yes. Parents are kept informed about the athlete's plan, progress, consistency, and next steps. You should never have to guess whether your athlete is engaged or improving.
What if my athlete misses a session or falls behind?
We adjust the plan and help them get back on track. The goal is not perfection. The goal is building the consistency and habits required to improve over time.
Is this for beginners?
This program is best for serious 14 to 18-year-old athletes who are currently playing JV or varsity basketball and want to improve their performance, earn more playing time, make varsity, or become more college-ready.
Does this include recruiting help?
Yes. Depending on the athlete's goals, we provide guidance around player development, film, positioning, and building a stronger recruiting profile. We do not promise scholarships or roster spots. We build the athlete and profile that make those opportunities more likely.
What equipment or space does my athlete need?
Most training requires a basketball, access to a hoop, and enough space to move safely. We adapt the plan around what your athlete has access to, whether that is a driveway, garage, backyard, or local gym.
What happens after we book the call?
We complete an evaluation, learn your athlete's goals, identify their biggest development gaps, and determine whether the program is a fit. If it is, we build the appropriate plan together.
